Hailey Baldwin Praises Taylor Swift’s ‘Cats’ Movie
Hailey Baldwin raved about Taylor Swift's Cats movie amid the singer's feud with Justin Bieber.
On Wednesday (December 18), the 23-year-old model took to Instagram to share her excitement for the star-studded film, which officially hits theatres everywhere December 20. As most fans know, the "Lover" hitmaker created a lot of buzz for the film for her role as Bombalaurina — and though Swift's part is small, she's very much in it.
"My Christmas gift from the universe is the release of @catsmovie," Baldwin wrote on her Instagram Story after sharing a screen shot of her listening to famed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber's song "Memory."
It's certainly not surprising that Baldwin has an interest in the iconic Broadway musical, but it's interesting that she shared it publicly considering Swift's ongoing feud with Bieber and his manager Scooter Braun.
Back in June, after Swift posted a scathing letter accusing Braun of bullying her, the "Sorry" singer responded by sharing a message to his Instagram account, calling her out for doing it so publicly.
"As the years have passed we haven’t crossed paths and gotten to communicate our differences, hurts or frustrations," he wrote. "So for you to take it to social media and get people to hate on Scooter isn’t fair."
"Seems to me like it was to get sympathy. You also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully Scooter," Bieber also added before concluding, "I usually don’t rebuttal [sic] things like this but when you try and deface someone I love's character, that's crossing a line."
At the time, Baldwin commented, "Gentleman."
