More news from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear this afternoon.  In his daily update, the governor updated Kentuckians with the latest coronavirus news here in the Commonwealth.  That latest news includes the confirmation of one case here in Daviess County and another in Henderson.  He said, "We're going to see new cases and there are going to be new challenges every day."

To combat those new challenges, today Governor Beshear reminded Kentuckians that all gatherings in Kentucky, where people would come together, are closed indefinitely.  He reinforced his earlier order that includes government functions, community festivals, church services and more.  The new guidance on gatherings is part of an Executive Order that was signed Thursday afternoon.

Beshear said, "We're calling on you as Americans and as citizens of Kentucky to do your part.  We'll get through this and we'll get through it together.  It's disrupting out lives, our Commonwealth and our country.  We CAN do this.  America has faced great challenges and we have always risen up to defeat them."

Beshear encouraged Kentuckians to "Be good citizens, good people and doing everything we can for each other."
