Adopt These Two Playful Brothers From the Vanderburgh Humane Society
The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle!
Meet Our VHS Pets of the Week
Meet Fortunado & Fortuity! At just 8 months old, these brothers are bursting with personality! Fortunado, a charming brown and white tabby, is the life of the party; he’s vocal, playful, and loves to be the center of attention. On the other hand, we have Fortuity, the adventurous little black explorer. Whether it’s a household appliance or a toy to chase, Fortuity’s inquisitive nature will keep you on your toes!
Together, these two are a perfect blend of energy and affection. Whether they're chasing each other around the house or snuggling up for a nap, they truly thrive in each other’s company. If you’re ready to add some furry fun to your life, you can adopt Fortunado & Fortuity today for just $170! You can visit with both of these brothers at River Kitty Cat Cafe, at 226 Main Street. The cafeis a part of the Vanderburgh Humane Society, and adoptions can take place directly from that location.

More About the Vanderburgh Humane Society
The VHS was founded in 1957 to provide protection for homeless animals, intervention for animals in abusive environments, and community education to encourage prevention of animal abuse and pet overpopulation. Located in Evansville, Indiana, the VHS serves as a surrender and adoption agency for unwanted pets. The VHS receives no tax-based funding whatsoever. Therefore, it depends on the generosity of the corporate community and the public at large to continue, and hopefully expand, the much-needed services it offers.
