First Day Of Summer Brings Unexpected Anxiety

During the summer I will get off the air at 10:00 am and two days a week I will go home and spend the day with my kids and not go into work at Project Reveal. I am so excited to spend this precious time with them -- but sigh, it didn't go that great.

Yesterday was the first day of summer break. I didn't have any expectations of how the day would go, but I didn't think I would spend my day dealing with the version of my kids where no one listened.

It was so frustrating! We did have fun most of the day but I was more frustrated that I would have liked-- I yelled at them more that I would have liked. I decided to change my approach and attitude about the whole situtation...here is what I decided.
