Chat With Evansville First Responders at 2026 “Faith & Blue” Event

What if the next time you talk with a police officer or firefighter, it's over a taco instead of an emergency? That's the idea behind Faith & Blue, coming to The Hills Church on Sunday, October 18, from 4 to 6 p.m.

What is Faith & Blue?

Faith & Blue is a nationwide effort that brings law enforcement and local faith communities together to build stronger relationships with the neighbors they serve. In Evansville, the Evansville Police Department is hosting the afternoon, and everyone is invited, whatever your age or background.

Who Will Be at Faith & Blue?

You'll find plenty of familiar faces from around town. Representatives from the Evansville Police Department, Evansville Fire Department, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office, Indiana State Police, and Evansville-Vanderburgh Central Dispatch will be there, along with other public safety agencies. It's a chance to say hello, ask questions, and get to know the people who show up when things go wrong.
