Evansville YMCA to Host Hip-Hop Architecture Camp in July
The Hip-Hop Architecture Camp is an awesome (and FREE) way teach young people in Evansville about architecture. Would you like to apply?
Based on the "4C's" which are Creativity, Collaboration, Communication and Critical Thinking, the camp uses Hip Hop Culture as a catalyst to introduce under-represented communities to architecture, urban planning, creative place making and economic development. The camp is from July 9-13 at the YMCA Caldwell Community Center (1930 S. Garvin Street), and is open to kids aged 11-14. Daily camp hours are 9am-4pm.
While the camp is free, it is also limited on the number of participants. And interested families need to apply for enrollment.
