The Toys "R" Us store in Evansville, Indiana closed for good in 2018. Since then, the building has been a Spirit Halloween store and a vendor mall. The building is coming back to life, but not for fans of retail shopping.

Real-Life Hot Wheels Garage

When you think about all of the kids that bought their favorite toys from Toys "R" Us, it's hard to picture anything else inside the Evansville location. I took a peek inside of the building, and the first thang that came to mind was a life-size car garage.

Clean Slate

The front door area has no more signs of Toys "R" Us. In fact, there is no signage on that side.

 Not New to Indiana or Kentucky

Caliber recently celebrated 1,600 locations across the country. There will soon be two locations in Evansville one in Newburgh and one in Owensboro. The Green River Road location is not currently listed on the website.
