Community Rallies Around Southern Indiana Market After Barn Fire
Even if you have never heard of Farm 57, you have probably seen the red double-decker pizza bus known as Pizza Revolution. Farm 57 is the home of that popular food truck.
Devastating Fire
Monday morning the Peckenpaugh family were awakened by a call from authorities telling them their barn at Farm 57 was on fire. Thankfully the McCutchenville and Scott Township fire departments were able to put the fire out fairly quickly. But the market did sustain damage and all of the merchandise was lost.
I was just there last week, and they have so many nice things, plus coffee drinks, ice cream, and a bar. Every Wednesday they host Food Trucks at Farm 57, opening their space to over a dozen food trucks. There is live music and the crowd grows every week.
No Food Trucks at The Farm This Week
Sadly, the family is trying to assess the damage and clean up from the fire, so they have canceled their food truck event this week. But there is a way to show your support and get some of the beautiful flowers from the greenhouse.
