Last Friday night, we were under a similar threat and that particular storm system spawned some tornado warnings along the Ohio River. According to the National Weather Service, the strongest rotations in those storms threatened Daviess County, Kentucky, Spencer County, Indiana and surrounding areas.

According to Eyewitness News Meteorologist Ron Rhodes, the primary threat tomorrow is going to be damaging winds, but a tornado cannot be ruled out.

Of course, last Friday's severe threat placed some parts of the Central U.S. under a MODERATE risk of severe weather, which they are facing again this week. There were some incredibly large and powerful twisters caught on camera.

According to our latest Hazardous Weather Outlook, here's what the National Weather Service in Paducah is preparing us for:

DAY ONE (Today/Tonight Tuesday, April 4th, 2023)

Thunderstorms are possible this evening through the night. A few of these storms may become severe posing a damaging wind or tornado threat.

DAYS TWO (Wednesday, April 5th, 2023)

Thunderstorms continue through the day Wednesday. Some of these storms may be severe with damaging winds the primary severe weather hazard. Localized flooding issues may develop Wednesday through Wednesday night in areas of thunderstorms and training heavy rain.
