Indiana’s ‘Parody Principal’ is Going Viral (Again) with This Hilarious Summer Anthem
Mike Allen, the super creative principal over at Evansville Christian School (ECS), is back at it – and honestly, we’ve been waiting for this one! Known on YouTube as The Parody Principal, Mike just dropped what might be his most anticipated video yet – the one that officially kicks off summer break!
If you haven’t stumbled onto one of his nearly 50 videos by now, you’re missing out. He’s been entertaining students, staff, and pretty much anyone who clicks "play" with clever, funny song parodies.
The Parody Principal's Most Anticipated Video Yet
In his most recent song, the Parody Principal puts his spin on the C&C Music Factory hit "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" to celebrate the end of the school year. ECS students and faculty rejoice at moving on to the next grade in the video for "Everyone Advance Now!"
And now, the original, for comparison...
A Look Back at 2025 Fan Favorites
Earlier this year, he tackled a hot-button issue for folks in Southern Indiana – the weather. He took the New Kids on the Block classic “The Right Stuff” and turned it into a snowy tribute called “The White Stuff.” He followed that up with some 90s throwback magic, channeling Montell Jordan for a spring break anthem titled “We Could Really Use It.”
Creativity Takes Time
This is his 5th video of the year, and I imagine we won't see another one until fall, which gives him plenty of time to work on the next masterpiece. Think about how much time it must take to make one of these videos - writing lyrics that fit, laying down the vocals, shooting and editing the video - all while also being the principal of a school. It's truly amazing.
