'DIXIE' the Bouncing Beagle is Our Fursday Pet of the Week

Our Fursday Pet of the Week is DIXIE. This adorable beagle mix is available for adoption at It Takes a Village Canine Shelter on Stockwell Rd. Please consider making her part of your family!

DIXIE is a 7-month-old beagle mix who came to It Takes A Village as an owner surrender. That means that the owner could no longer provide adequate care for her. So the owner did the responsible thing and gave her to It Takes A Village. Now she can be yours!

She is so stinking sweet. Full of energy and love. And waiting until you hear her little howl. You'll be grinning from ear to ear!

DIXIE has been spayed and has all her shots, and once she has been microchipped she will ready to go home with you! She'll be ready for adoption by Saturday, July 15th. The adoption fee is $185.

And don't forget that if you can't/don't want to adopt a dog, you can always be a foster for It Takes a Village. Help them out however you can please.
