Visit Dinosaur Discovery at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science
The fascination of Dinosaurs have existed for a many years but, not as many years as these creatures roamed the earth millions of years ago! You won't want to miss Dinosaur Discovery going on now at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science!
Beginning July 29th through October 28th, 2018 you'll want to bring the whole family to see the dinosaurs from the Cretaceous period featuring the Pteranodon, Albertosaurus, and the Triceratops.
Also, be sure to check out a family of quadrupedal herbivorous dinosaurs, a bipedal carnivorous dinosaur, and a toothless carnivorous aerial reptile.
Activities for children will be available including:
- Becoming a Paleontologist - dig for fossils through sand and uncover even more fossils by rubbing crayons on paper-covered templates.
- Bring home your memories of Dinosaur Discovery with a photograph of you, family members, or friends riding a Triceratops or looking out from inside the deadly jaws of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Discover a display of fossil replicas of dinosaur skulls, eggs and footprint casts from the Cincinnati Museum Center.
Admission to Dinosaur Discovery:
- Museum Members - Free for youth; $5 for adults
- Not-Yet Members - $16 for youth; $20 for adults
Ticket prices include admission to the Museum and all its galleries, admission to the Evansville Museum Transportation Center (EMTRAC), and admission to any show of your choice in the Koch Immersive Theater during the day of your visit.
