A Day in the Life at the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville

Each month we get the opportunity to chat with Shanna Groeninger, the Resource Development Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville. It's nice to get an update about things happening at the club - programs, fundraisers, news for parents and members, etc.

This month, we asked Shanna to Be MY Guest and to walk us through a typical day in the life for the young men and women at the Boys & Girls Club. I'll admit, I had no idea. I mean, I've known about the club my whole like, but I had no clue about what they actually do for/with their members. FYI, it's way more than just a place to hang out after school.

Shanna also talks about the clubs partnership with the University of Southern Indiana's school of nursing - just another example of how they are keeping our kids safe. And we learn about an exciting new partnership with Anthem Blue Cross, giving families the chance to get their membership costs covered.
