You have to agree that the duo of Daryl Hall & John Oates is on a very short list of the most iconic musical acts of the 1980s, in fact, they are the best-selling duo of all time. Pretty impressive. And after making music together for 50 years, the two of them show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Daryl Hall is preparing to hit the road on his first solo tour in more than a decade.

The tour follows the release of Hall's first-ever solo retrospective, an album called BeforeAfter, featuring 30 tracks from all five of Hall's solo albums and other projects. BeforeAfter also features six never-released performances from Hall's web series Live From Daryl's House, including a recording of the Eurythmics classic “Here Comes The Rain Again,” performed with the song’s co-writer and Hall’s longtime friend and collaborator, Dave Stewart.

Hall will be joined on stage by the Daryl's House Band. Hall's longtime friend, collaborator, and fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Todd Rundgren will be the special guest for this tour. Rundgren is best known for songs like 1972's "Hello It's Me," 1978's "Can We Still Be Friends," and the 1982 favorite "Bang the Drum All Day."

10 Bands from the 80s that Played Evansville's Mesker Music Amphitheater

It doesn't have to be a Throwback Thursday to talk about Mesker Music Amphitheatre, or if you grew up in Evansville, you can just refer to it as Mesker. Concert enthusiasts really had it made when Mesker hosted shows.
