I can't think of a better fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana than this one - BOWLING! It's something everyone loves doing (they're lying if they say they don't), and it's a great example of a fun activity for BIGS and LITTLES to do together - it's perfect.

Bowl for Kids' Sake is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our local Big Brothers Big Sisters, and this year's event is probably the biggest, or at least the most important, ever. Big Brothers Big Sisters didn't have an event last year, so they really need this one to be a success. The goal is to raise $55,000 with this event and, I'll be honest with you, they're pacing a little behind where they would like to be in regards to the number of teams signed up.

What Else Should I Know?

I can think of no one better to tell you what you need to hear than their Executive Director Andrew Backes. Take a listen to our chat with Andrew during this week's edition of Be MY Guest.
