January is National Mentoring Month, which means it's a very important time for an organization like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana. They are always looking for qualified 'bigs' for the kids on their list, but right now, they have a specific need for more men. The number of boys on the list is far greater than the number of girls, and that's why they are searching for 100 MENtors in 100 Days.

During this week's Be MY Guest segment, Liberty and I spoke with Andrew Backes, the Executive Director for BBBSSWI. You can hear our interview below, where we discuss more details of the mentoring program, including how to take that first step towards becoming a "big" and how BBBSSWI is keeping bigs and littles safe in this current COVID environment. BBBSSWI is also the non-profit of the month (January) at Eastland Mall - so we talk about what that means for you and the organization.
