This royal cutie is QUEEN, our Thursday Pet of the Week with It Takes a Village. She's a sweet mixed breed that is in need of a foster family right now.

QUEEN came to ITV from Evansville Animal Control. She's new to the shelter and hasn't been completely vetted yet. The best guess is that QUEEN is about three years old. This gal has the sweetest disposition and a super smile! She seems to get along with other dogs and we will do a meet and greet with any other dogs in the potential foster home.

As long as Foster's meet the guidelines in the Foster Handbook and are a good match for QUEEN, the foster will get first chance to adopt on her spay day.

Let's get her in a home now so she doesn't miss the SuperBowl!

If you're interested in fostering QUEEN, the first step is to fill out an online foster application. The next step would be to set up a meet and greet to see how y'all get along in person.

All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered and FIV/FeLV-tested.

ITV is open during regular hours now that the holidays are over. However, we received so much support and interest over shut down we are still working diligently to review all correspondences and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we find the best matches for our rescues.
