In case you didn't know, soiree is just a fancy French word for party. Don't worry, you don't have to be French to attend the Holiday Soiree with Albion Fellows Bacon Center - it's open to everyone. The party will be at Barnes and Nobel on Saturday, December 7th from 11am-1pm and will include cookie decorating, stories with Santa and some other fun surprises.

There is a fundraising element (thanks to a Barnes & Noble giveback), but more than anything, this is a chance for the public to meet and learn more about the Albion Fellows Bacon Center. And perhaps you will be inspired to contribute to their Holiday drive. They make it really easy for you too, allowing you to shop online for families with the help of a Target registry.

Mallorie Cloum is the Community Engagement Director for Albion Fellows Bacon Center and she's a friend of the MY Morning Show. She went on the air with us to talk about the party and to remind folks about the important work being done at the center. I hope you'll take a few minutes to listen to our interview below. *Please note that we are absolutely joking about the 'admission fee' for kids, because we're knuckleheads!
