47 Good Evansville Area Pets Caught Doing Bad Things

Having pets is a lot like having children. You love them to death, and they are adorable, but every once in a while they do things that make you question why you thought having them was a good idea in the first place.

Ryan's Story

Case in point. Not too long ago, I got home from work and when I walked into the house from the garage I was greeted with the kitchen trash can on its side with nearly all the contents inside of it, including wet coffee grounds, empty ice cream containers, vegetable ends, and more, scattered across the floor. I knew right away our dog, Mya was the culprit because she's done it before which is why we keep it in a closet in the kitchen. Apparently, on this day someone in the house didn't check and make sure the door latched shut after they threw something away before they left for the day and Mya used the opportunity to enjoy a full-blown buffet of garbage. Here's a look at the crime scene. Not exactly what I wanted to deal with after getting home from work.

Leslie's Story

For me it's a tie between Mr. Marty Snuggles and his very loud meow that sounds like he is saying hello at 3am in the morning, and our cat Emmy who has decided she wants to go poop in front of the pantry or in the bathroom by the toilet.

I guess, when I think about it, I will have to go with Emmy.

Cleaning up her mess every day is really getting on my nerves.

But, like I do with people, I try to find our what is behind the problem. Why did she, all of a sudden start exhibiting this incredibly disgusting behavior?

The only answer I can come up with, Mr. Marty Snuggles.

Emmy can't stand him. He's loud, invades personal space, and loves to antagonize. Emmy, being very shy and emo-like, is super stressed right now.

So, I have two pets that have their own way of behaving badly, but I love them both so much, it looks like we are going to have to learn how to cope. I get mad sometimes, but the next minute, I'm loving on them. Well, except for Emmy, she hates love. LOL

We know our pets aren't the only fur babies who have a tendency to get into things they shouldn't or tear up random objects. So, we asked you to share a story or a photo (or both) of a time your sweet, innocent, precious little four-legged family member did something that would have landed them in pet prison if such a thing existed. How some of you still let them in the house after the things they did blows my mind. You're far more forgiving than I would have been.
