Two of Indiana’s most beloved traditions are teaming up in 2026, and I don’t know if I could be more excited about it. The Indiana State Fair is partnering with the Indianapolis Indians for what should be a grand slam summer!

A Home Run Partnership For Summer

The exciting partnership was announced during Opening Day festivities at Victory Field, setting the tone for a summer packed with fun, nostalgia, and plenty of hometown pride. If you’ve ever loved a night at the ballpark or a day at the fair, this collaboration is basically your dream come true.

The Indiana State Fairgrounds will get a baseball-inspired makeover, including interactive experiences for the whole family. An area that will undoubtedly be a crowd favorite is the “mini-Victory Field” wiffle ball diamond. It might be meant for the kiddos, but you know the adults (myself included) will love stepping up to the plate too.

A Celebration Of Baseball And Tradition

This partnership also ties into America’s 250th birthday and combines two summertime traditions – fairs and baseball – into one unforgettable season. It’s a chance to soak up some nostalgia while making brand-new memories with friends and family.

The Indiana State Fair has always celebrated the best our state has to offer. Nothing celebrates America and Indiana quite like baseball and the State Fair. We are excited to partner with the Indianapolis Indians to celebrate America’s pastime and our nation’s 250th birthday at the 2026 Indiana State Fair. ~ Ray Allison, Indiana State Fair Executive Director
