It is easy to complain about the amount or variety of concerts that we get in Evansville, Indiana. But honestly, we have had some pretty epic shows, especially in the 2000s.

Goodbye Roberts Stadium

If you are of a certain age, you know exactly what I'm referring to when I say Roberts Stadium. These days, it is the area known as Roberts Park. It's located near Wesselman Woods and the National Guard Armory. It was demolished and replaced with The Ford Center. But before that happened, I remember seeing some amazing concerts, and even giant home and garden expos. There was also the George Strait concert that we almost missed because of traffic. Here are a few huge shows that will take you back in time.
