Sophia's foster parents brag about how beautiful Sophia is and she's a very lovable and affectionate gal! She is house-trained and she enjoys leash walks. Sophia is good with kids and people. Her foster mom reports that she definitely has Pointer in her because she has seen Sophia do the "Pointer stance". Sophia lives with a cat, but does not bother her.

We rescued Sophia when we discovered she and her new litter of puppies were stranded out in the cold harsh winter conditions. Sophia was a nurturing momma. Her puppies were all weaned and are in loving homes. Sophia is also looking for a forever home and she is thriving in a foster home. Sophia had a rough time giving birth outside in the cold, and she was also diagnosed with heartworms. Of course, we treated her and she is doing very well now. With all the bad things that have happened, we know it's now Sophie's turn to get treated like a queen. Anyone who is looking for a larger dog will be lucky to add Sophie into their life. She weighs just under 60 pounds and is full of love. She will never have the burden of an unwanted pregnancy. Sophia is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is approximately one year old. If you are that person who can show Sophia how special she truly is, please submit an online application at This gal deserves to be pampered and never be uprooted again.

Please realize that most of our dogs are kept in foster homes. Please complete an adoption application in order to schedule a meeting with one of our dogs. There is no obligation in completing the application. To get an application, please visit our website at email us at with questions!
