12 Shelter Dogs of Christmas – LuLu [Pit Bull]

In honor of the nationally recognized shelter dog Ned, that found his forever home after 837 long days at It Takes a Village Canine Rescue Shelter in Evansville, IN, we wanted to spread the love this holiday season and bring you the 12 dogs of Christmas! All of these dogs desperately need a home!

Many dogs have an adoption fee of only $25 until the end of December and several more are sponsored! All the adoptable dogs are posted online at ITVrescue.org.

Dog • Pit Bull Terrier Mix • Adult • Female • Large

Lulu is such a happy girl that will wiggle her whole body and shower you with kisses every time she sees you!! She can also smile on command! She is house-trained and crate-trained. Lulu knows basic commands and loves to give people her paw. She is such a playful girl!

Lulu is about 5 years old. LuLu has a heart so full of love and hope. Lulu was saved from a high intake shelter. Lulu is going to need an experienced adopter because she has some quirks when meeting new people, especially strange men who she does not know. But, once she knows them, she greets them with a wiggle butt every time!

Lulu was always an only dog so she would do best in a home where she is the only dog. While the easy route may be to give up on her, we know that there is the perfect adopter out there waiting to give LuLu a forever home. She is so worth it because she makes your heart smile every time she sees you! She is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested. She also loves walks and is good on a leash.
