Winter Storm Warning & Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Tristate

Well, we have heard all week long about the possibility of snow this weekend.  Now, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the northern parts of the MY 105.3 listening area.  ere's the latest forecast and what we can expect from this, the official return of winter weather.

Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

WINTER STORM WARNING (6pm Friday to Noon Saturday)

Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches expected. Most of southwest Indiana, including Gibson, Pike, Posey, Vanderburgh, and Warrick Counties.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY (from 6pm Friday to Noon Saturday)

 Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches expected. Most of Spencer County Indiana, and western Kentucky along and north of a line from Smithland to Calhoun to Owensboro.
