There are a lot of unknowns, when it come to this afternoon's solar eclipse. We've never experienced anything like this, with all of the technology that we have today, like cell phones. So, will all of our calls get dropped? Hopefully not, because the major cell phone providers have portable towers that will help with the amount of people in our area, that could be using their phones. In some areas, 911 could be affected. Evansville Police Chief Billy Bolin says this should not be the case in Evansville. However, in rural areas south of Evansville, you may need to text 911, in order to get through. Please make sure you have a true emergency, if you do call 911. The moon covering the sun is not one LOL! We laugh, but I'll bet that someone will call to report it!
