As we get ready for Halloween and Trick or Treating across the Tri-State, you may notice some "Teal" Pumpkins outside some houses....but what does that mean?

The Teal Pumpkin Project was started to help out children who have food allergies.  If you see a house with a teal pumpkin outside, that means either they are handing out non-food items instead of candy, OR they have candy, but they also have some trinkets to hand out in case a child comes to their door with food allergies.

It's a fun way to help kids who happen to have allergies have a fun and safe Halloween.

What do you think of the Teal Pumpkin Project?  Will you be joining in?
