Today, voters will decide the fate of the popular Farmer and the Frenchman Winery and Cafe located in Henderson County, Kentucky.

The restaurant is located in a dry zone left over from a vote in the 1940’s.  People who live in the Anthoston precinct will be able to vote whether or not to allow the sale of wine and other alcoholic beverages.

The polls will be open from 6 am - 6 pm today at  the Bellfield Baptist Church.

On a personal note, I had a chance to visit The Farmer and the Frenchman in July and fell in love with this place!  I hope they can continue operating with a liquor license as my husband and I enjoyed their wine tastings.   They have seating inside the restaurant and a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking their vineyards. Be sure to check out the video below of the Farmer and The Frenchman Cafe & Winery.
