Growing up in a small-town outside of Dayton, Ohio, I can remember a local store selling really cheap candy.  My Mom called it Penny Candy. The store had an area where you could get 10 pieces for a dime!

It was a real treat when my parents let us buy candy, too.  I remember Bazooka bubble gum with the little cartoon inside and your fortune at the bottom, Mary Jane candies, jaw breakers, Sugar Daddy's, candy buttons, candy necklaces, and more!   Some great memories of my childhood days!
