Taylor Swift just set an American Music Awards record with — are you ready for it? — 23 wins. Call it what you want, but Swift stays breaking records. Tonight alone, the pop singer won the AMAs for Tour of the Year (for her Reputation Stadium Tour), Favorite Album – Pop/Rock (for Reputation), Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, and the biggest award of the night: Artist of the Year.

Prior to the 2018 AMAs, Swift had won a total of 19 American Music Awards from 25 nominations. She now holds 23 awards from 29 nominations. With her Artist of the Year win, Swift beat the previous record of 21 AMAs set by Whitney Houston.

To top it all off, Swift used her big win as an opportunity to push once again for everyone to vote in the midterm elections.

"I understand how lucky I am to have anyone that cares about me or my music. Every time that you have made me lucky enough to ever get to stand on a stage and have something really sparkly in my hands and say thank you, every single time this happens ... it means something different to me," Swift began in her acceptance speech.

"This time it represents encouragement and motivation for me to be better, work harder and make you guys proud as much as I possibly can so thank you for this incredible symbol of encouragement ... this award and every single award given out tonight were voted on by the people," she continued.

The singer concluded by reiterating the sentiments expressed in her recent political Instagram post. "And you know what else is voted on by the people is the midterm elections on November 6. Get out and vote. I love you guys," she said.

We love you, too, Taylor. And we will.
