Evansville Otters Manager, Andy McCauley joined us on Wednesday to share what he told his team after the Frontier League's decision to uphold the team's 10-game forfeiture in the wake of former pitcher Will Oliver's ineligibility, and what they need to do in order to stay in the Wild Card hunt.

Only 18 games remain in the regular season and the Evansville Otters hold a half-game lead over the Southern Illinois Miners in the Frontier League's East Division. Injuries to pitchers Preston Olsen and Efrain Nieves, as well as infielder and reigning Frontier League MVP Shayne Houck will provide a challenge for the team as the hope to increase their lead in the division over the final few weeks.

In advance of their double-header to start a three game home series against the Windy City Thunder, Evansville Otters Manager joined me and Jimmie to talk about the difference in game planning a double-header over a single game, the current state of his pitching staff, and the addition of a new catcher.

The Evansville Otters are on a two-game winning streak bringing their record to 5-5 over the last 10 games, and 22-13 overall heading into the final game of a three game series with the Frontier Greys on Thursday evening.
