Santa’s Reindeer to Make Live Appearance in the Tri-State

When my daughter was three, she went through a Prancer phase. We watched the movie Prancer about 8 zillion times that year. She became obsessed with reindeer that year and though I searched far and wide I couldn't find a live reindeer locally to save my soul.

Now, her Christmas dreams are coming true. Santa's TOYS in Santa Claus, IN, is hosting a FREE live reindeer event on November 24th and 25th from noon to 4 PM each day. You can meet Santa's reindeer and let your kiddos make their Christmas wish list at the same time! With over 3,000 toys at the 'workshop' this place is pretty amazing. We went last year and if you want a pro tip (because of course you do) the line is really long if you get there right at noon but dies down if you wait until about 2 PM. We went shopping and ran over to Santa's Candy Castle - one of my FAVORITE places - before heading back and we got right in!
