Last week, my daughter who is six asked for an LOL Dollhouse for Christmas complete with 80+ surprises. Know what I'm thinking? I'd shell out $160 for eighty little pieces of plastic to step on and pick up... I told her that it probably wasn't going to happen now or ever. Her response was, "Okay, I'll ask Santa." Little does she know I've already gotten to Santa and he too will not be bringing her this gift.

This morning, on Facebook I saw this in my feed and it made sense. Santa is encouraging big ticket gifts to come from parents and NOT from him. I've always gone the other way around but my kiddo has been too little to know the difference.

Makes sense. Santa has to make toys for all the children of the world. He can't buy Mac computers for everyone! Does Santa bring the big or small gifts in your home? Let me know!
