The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center in Paducah has placed nearly every Tri-State county north of the Ohio River under a Slight Risk for severe weather Tuesday, while those south of the River are under a marginal risk.

The NWS announced the risk on Twitter Monday morning.

According to the Storm Prediction Center, a Slight Risk means "An area of organized severe storms, which is not widespread in coverage with varying levels of intensity."

Be careful!
