Non-Profits & Food Trucks Welcome at 'Live Reindeer Experience'

A couple weeks ago, I was nosing around the Santa Claus, IN, tourism site and I noticed that a toy store in Santa Claus, IN, was hosting a live reindeer event. What?! I was sooo excited because I have a five-year-old who loves Santa but I'm pretty sure she loves his reindeer even more.

Santa's TOYS in Santa Claus, IN, is hosting a FREE Live Reindeer Experience on November 25th and 26th from noon to 4 PM each day. Very cool, right?! So, I put a blog up and it blew up! Tons of shares -- everyone is excited! It's going to be such a big event, owner/operator Mark Schmidt told us today that he's inviting local food trucks and non-profits to come out and set up a booth in the parking lot free of charge.

He also told me that it wasn't easy getting the reindeer to Santa Claus, IN, (as they reside in the North Pole and only make a couple appearances each year) but he really wanted to give back to the local children and families so they made it happen. It's all part of the magic of Christmas.

While you are in Santa Claus, be sure to visit the Santa Claus Store, Santa's Candy Castle, the Santa Claus Museum and historic church and of course, let your kiddos make their Christmas wish list at Santa's Toys. With over 3,000 toys at the 'workshop' this place is pretty amazing.
