We have another sweet little kitty up for adoption this week. Our Pet of the Week is FREYA and she's ready to get adopted from It Takes a Village now!

FREYA is a petite female that we estimate to be around a year old. She was found as a friendly stray in Spencer County. FREYA is incredibly sweet and loves attention. She is currently in a foster home with multiple other cats and children. Her foster reports she loves to play and keeps herself very entertained. FREYA, like most cats, does need to be fed out of metal or ceramic food dishes (not plastic) due to an allergic reaction. It’s a small price to pay for the company of this special girl!

All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered and FIV-tested.

Please realize that many of our animals are kept in foster homes. Please complete an online adoption application in order to schedule a meeting with one of the animals. There is no obligation in completing the application.

Keep in mind that It Takes a Village is currently closed due to the pandemic but they are adopting and fostering by appointment only once an online application is approved. Please be patient as they are running with a slim crew while demand has been very high.
