MAXIMUS is our Fursday Pet of the Week. He's a senior doggy with a really sad story, and he's waiting for you at It Takes a Village Canine Shelter!

MAXIMUS has lived a good life, but he's on the final leg of his journey. In this situation It Takes a Village isn't looking for an adopter, they are looking for someone to foster MAXIMUS for the remainder of time he has with us. MAXIMUS has an enlarged heart. He also has a cancerous tumor on the back of his neck. The vets are not able to operate on him because of his heart situation. He's about 11 years old, and he is just the sweetest doggy. His tail never stops wagging and he just wants to get your love.
