KSP Looking For Suspect in Hopkinsville Police Officer Murder

Daviess County Sheriff Keith Cain and additional authorities in Kentucky are seeking your assistance tonight.  Have you seen this man?

Authorities say that 35-year-old James Kennith Decoursey is wanted in connection with the murder of a Hopkinsville, Kentucky police officer.  That officer was shot and killed in the line of duty this afternoon.  The identity of the officer has not yet been released to the public.

In the meantime, Kentucky State Police are looking for the above suspect.  Authorities believe he is possibly occupying a white 1997 Chevy Silverado with license plate 2070GH.  James Decoursey is a 6'1", 260 pound, white male.  He has brown eyes and black hair.  If you have seen him or have information about his location, you are asked to call authorities immediately.
