Two weeks to the day after Kesha released "Praying," her first new music in four years, the singer has also made a video of the behind-the-scenes of the song's music video. When the song premiered on Lenny Letter, accompanied by a heartfelt note, it received an outpouring of support from fans who had been anxiously awaiting her return during her drawn-out and highly-publicized legal battle with her producer and accused sexual attacker Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald.

After jubilant screams, the video begins with Kesha breathlessly saying, "This is finally happening." It is a heart-wrenchingly vulnerable peek behind the production of an already achingly intimate song. Between joking that the video is "making metaphors out of her life" and giving a sweet shout-out to her producer Jonas Akerlund, it somehow lends an even more touching understanding to "Praying."
