Got Spring Fever?  I know I do!  With unusually warm January temperatures, some Perennials think Spring is here and are starting to bloom!  What should you do if this is happening in your garden?

If some of your perennials are confused thinking it's Spring and popping up, like mine, here's what Comb's Landscaping and Garden Center has suggested:   Make sure there is plenty of mulch covering the erupting plant.  The mulch will help protect the root system, so, make sure you have plenty on top and all around the plant.  I asked if I should cover the plant with anything else and (Julie) said no, that should do it!

So, make sure you protect your confused perennials!  And let's hope for an early Spring!
