In Memory of My Mom, Her Flowers Bloomed at Easter!

I was so thrilled to see my Mom's yellow tulips in bloom this Easter weekend!  After she passed away 5 years ago, I had dug up some of her favorite flowers and brought them to my house to take care of.

She lived outside of Dayton, Ohio, so I had my buckets and shovel ready for that trip with sadness, sorrow, and joy - knowing that I'd be bringing back a part of her with me.

Mom had the green thumb in our family and always had beautiful flowers around the house.  Since I've been a homeowner, I've had a passion for gardening, just like my mom did.  To remember her passionate spirit for gardening, I am taking care of some of her flowers and plants that she had around her house which are now a part of my landscaping around my home.
