The boys in blue and the boys in red are set to face off once again in an effort to raise money for 911 Gives Hope, but this time they're trading their boxing gloves for hockey sticks.

The puck will drop on the fifth annual Guns and Hoses Hockey game at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24th at Swonder Ice Arena on Boeke Road in Evansville. Tickets are only $10 each and are available now at the Evansville Firefighters Credit Union, Siegel's Uniforms, the Evansville Police Department, all Phonetodd Phone and Computer Repair locations, as well as Old National Bank's North Park, Darmstadt, and Newburgh locations.

A portion of the proceeds will go directly to 911 Gives Hope to continue the mission of improving the lives of children and people with disabilities in the local community. Since its inception, 911 Gives Hope has raised over $750,000 which it has donated to over 40 different child-related charities in the Tri-State area. The non-profit also continues to work towards its goal of building a group home for individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome, which includes the daughter of 911 Gives Hope founder, and Evansville Police Sergeant, Pat Phernetton.
