Fundraiser for Evansville Teen Killed in Train Accident

You're invited to participate in a fishing fundraiser to benefit the family of Zachariah McFarland. Zach was tragically killed in a train accident on Evansville's north side earlier this month. 'Fishing for Funds' is this Saturday, August 22nd.The event will start at the Angel Mounds boat ramp and runs from 6am-3pm. The entry fee is $30. At the end of the event there will be a 50% payout to the winner and a 50% payout to Zach's family.

You can have a 3-man team, but go by the 2-man rules. You can fish in the Ohio River or Green River if you want, as long as you put in at Angel Mounds and get back in time to weigh in. All fish must be alive - no stringers - and all fish will be released after weighed in.
