Evansville’s Twist Clothing Store Looking for New Owners After Announcing Closing

The owners of the popular clothing store, Twist Dance, Gymnastics, and Skate are looking to sell after announcing earlier this week they would be closing the store.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the owners announced that due to their recent acquisition of floral shop, It Can Be Arranged, and the desire to see it live up to its full potential, they would be closing Twist effective March 1st so they could focus all their attention on the other business.

As you all know, over a year ago we acquired the floral shop, It Can Be Arranged. As this business has blossomed, we’ve discovered the joyful benefits it can provide to the broader community in new unexpected ways. In order to nurture It Can Be Arranged to reach its full potential, we’ve made the very hard decision to close Twist as of March 1st, 2018. By closing Twist we will be better able to narrow our focus while expanding the space necessary for this growth to occur.

This was not an easy decision for us to make. We would love for the right person to take over Twist since we know the value it holds for the community. If you or anyone you know are interested in purchasing Twist, please call 812-474-0024.

We would like everyone to know that we have appreciated the community’s support over the past four years. Throughout these years we’ve watched area students grow at all levels and have met many incredibly supportive parents. Your customer loyalty and stories will forever be appreciated.

Due to the store closing, we will no longer be taking special orders as of January 13th, 2018. If you have placed an order it will be fulfilled. In addition, all merchandise except shoes will now be 40% off.

The store specializes in clothing and accessories for dance such as ballet shoes, jazz, and tap, as well as gift items such as bath and body, candles, and home decor.
