It takes way more than the players and coaches to run a baseball team. There's field crews, front office employees, concession workers, marketing people, and more. If being a part of that sounds enticing to you, becoming an intern with the Evansville Otters would be a great place to start!

The team announced this week they have 10 paid internships they're looking to fill for the upcoming season.

Being an intern for the Otters will give you the opportunity to be involved in a variety of different areas, including the aforementioned concessions, as well as group outings, operations, public relations/media, marketing, and merchandising.

If you or someone you know is interested, mail your cover letter and résumé to the following address:

Evansville Otters
Attn: Internship Coordinator
23 Don Mattingly Way
Evansville, IN 47711

While the team released no specific date in a press release to local media, they say interviews are set to begin "in a few weeks."

If you'd like more information, or have any questions regarding an internship with the Otters, e-mail Jake Riffert at jriffert@evansvilleotters.com. For a full list of internship descriptions and expectations, visit the team's official website.
