Everyone is putting Baby in a corner. In fact, Baby might be better off running into a room where she can lock the door to avoid the haters, because there were plenty after ABC's Dirty Dancing remake aired Wednesday night (May 25).

To say viewer response was positive would be like saying you've never sung "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" in the shower: It'd be a lie.

As is often the case when folks are displeased with something, Twitter sprung to life with dismayed fans eager to torch the update on the '80s classic, which famously starred Patrick Swayze (Johnny) and Jennifer Grey (Baby).

This time around, newcomer Colt Prattes took on the role of Johnny, while Abigail Breslin gave her best as Baby. However, the duo can be excused if they want to keep this flop off their resume: The film did anything but dance its way into people's hearts.

So, what was to blame for how the production turned out? Casting? Writing? Choreography? Maybe it was a little bit of everything—nothing worked right.
