Britney Spears’ Niece Maddie in Critical Condition after ATV Accident

Britney Spears took to social media asking for her fans to pray for her 8-year old niece, Maddie who was involved in an ATV accident over the weekend.  

Young Maddie was driving an ATV and accidentally fell into a pond Sunday in Louisiana and was submerged and trapped by her seatbelt until an ambulance service arrived.  Maddie is the daughter of singer and actress Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of Britney.

The child is in stable but critical condition according to a statement from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.

A publicist for the family has requested people to respect their privacy during this time and appreciates support and prayers for their family.
