Are You a Phubber? What is Phubbing?

I can tell you, with 99% certainty, that you have been guilty of phubbing at some point in your life. Shame on you! The fact is, I'm sure we've all done it. Is it a big deal? Is it rude? What is phubbing?

Think of it this way, it's snubbing someone in favor of looking at your phone. You're talking to another human who is actually in your presence, and you find yourself paying more attention to something or someone on your phone.

I have personally been a victim of phubbing quite a bit...like every morning in the studio with Stacey. If I had a dollar for every time something I said to Stacey went right over her head because she had her face in her phone, I could buy a new phone!

So, are you a dirty, rotten phubber? Think about it and keep it in mind next time you're hanging out with someone.
