I don't think that I've ever heard of a class that teaches kindness to kids. My son Chase is in the 4th grade at Oak Hill Elementary, and his class has been learning about kindness all year with Kindness Missions. Last month, they left notes with encouraging messages all over the community. Mrs. Carey's class won the Certified Kind Classroom Challenge, and they were able to see the movie, "Wonder", before anyone else! All 5 of the 4th grade classes designed a special tote bag, inspired by Kindness. A portion of the sales will go to PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that "actively leads social change, so that bullying is no longer considered an accepted childhood rite of passage."
