Fans from all over the TriState came to see baseball's Hit King for "4192" An Evening with Pete Rose Live, Saturday night at The Victory Theatre.

Pete Rose spoke about many great stories during the 90 minutes he was on stage, sharing his favorite memories when he grew up in Cincinnati and wanting to play with the Reds. His father played baseball, football, basketball, and other sports and Pete referred to him throughout the evening as his idol and inspiration who he loved dearly and missed to this day. His dad was his mentor and taught him the game of baseball.

All around me the was crowd was laughing throughout the night, including my husband, Mike who couldn't stop laughing at his jokes. Pete talked about his personal experiences in the major leagues, the players, his family, and even mentioned Don Mattingly!

When I was growing up in the Buckeye state just outside of Dayton, The Reds were my family's team, my team, and everybody in my neighborhood loved the Reds!  It was the Big Red Machine with Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, Joe Morgan, George Foster, Ken Griffey, Dave Concepcion, and Cesar Geronimo.

I was honored to meet Pete Rose during the VIP meet and greet before his performance! Thanks Pete, for a wonderful night, the interview on My 105.3 WJLT before your appearance, and all the great memories with The Cincinnati Reds.
